  I started a major remodel project about 6 months ago on my 1910 historic home in St. Petersburg, FL. I searched long and hard for the perfect floors to fit in with the old house but stand up to the modern world and my four dogs. I talked to Ken at Uptown Floors on the phone and made a 3 hour drive to his showroom to meet him personally and see his products. I chose a hand scraped Hickory wide plank floor for my project. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the craftsmanship at the mill and the expert advice and customer service from Ken!
